(Updated with full video)

This should be shocking, but it’s not.  As virtual proof of my thesis of earlier Sunday, this sentiment, as expressed by Waters, and others, is what’s tearing this country apart.  Video from KABC in Los Angeles.   Here we have people demanding more from the federal government, and Representative Maxine Waters, (D-CA), is going to tell the crowd that the “Tea Party can go straight to hell?” Here’s the video:

Did you notice the lady who urges Waters to “flip the script” and demands government to do more for her?

I want you to spend about 30 seconds letting that sink in.

The sad part is that some will take this as being demonstrative of a racial issue.  It’s not.  It’s about what we’ve permitted this country to become, and race is not the problem.  The problem is that the attitudes expressed in this video are too widespread among every race. For every African-American who shares the notions represented in this video, there are at least three non-minorities who agree in part or in whole with this sentiment.

This isn’t funny, and as disgusting as Maxine Waters may be, what is frightening are the people who think that our government should spend more on them. What have we been doing all these years?  This video is the answer to all the purveyors of the flimsy notion that you can make peace by submission to the aggressor.

I’m going to be blunt with a few of you, and you’re not going to like it, but too bad:  Some of you are now aboard with the Savior-of-the-day who is Rick Perry. Rick Perry is a man who panders to La Raza.

There can be no mistaking the facts. You cannot repair our country while pandering to those who wish to destroy it.

It’s time to give that some thought as you consider the outrage you feel toward those who demand ever more of your money, and you ought to consider who it has been enabling them for the sake of momentary support from a particular voting bloc based on racial identity.
